Accessibility

Introduction

Field Tax Ltd seeks to make its website as accessible as possible and has built the site with the following in mind:

  • The site is designed to perform well and be viewable on on a wife range of devices and screen sizes, for example phones, tablets, laptops and desktops.
  • Use your browsers text resize tool to increase or decrease the sites font size. (Can be found under something similar to View > Text size).
  • Images have descriptive alternative tags.
  • Text and background colour combinations pass WCAG 2.2 colour contrast guidelines.
  • Page structure is easy to navigate with the use of HTML headings, text and content hierarchy and a clear menu visible on each page.
  • Cascading Style Sheets have been used to present the styling of each page.
  • Properly structured HTML markup has been implemented for content.
  • If style sheets are not supported or are turned off, the site can still be navigated and read.
  • JavaScript has been kept to a minimum. All pages are still accessible if JavaScript fails to load or is turned off.
  • A sitemap is available that details the structure of the website.

This ensures our website passes the World Wide Web Consortium Web Accessibility Initiative (WCAG WAI) 2.2 guidelines for an accessible website. We aim to pass Level A and Level AA guidelines and aim to achieve Level AAA guidelines where possible.

Where guidelines continue to evolve, we will strive to meet them.

If you find any part of our site is not sufficient please contact us and we would be glad to improve in any way we can.
